Dan and I will be moving out of our cute little bachelor flat into a 2 bedroom on September 1st. I am really excited.

This is what has been inspiring me lately.

Yesterday I made a Semifreddo, which was something I had never heard of before. Basically Semifreddo refers to desserts that are partly frozen like ice cream cakes and partly frozen custards.
I followed this recipe, but replaced the mango for strawberries and the lime zest with 4 pureed strawberries.
We haven’t tried it yet but will tonight after dinner (which is lamb pizza!).

Cheers!

Strawberries, parisian bread, baby carrots, shelling peas, lamb, eggs, fresh milk, asparagus!

It’s so nice today!
Yesterday Dan and I got up early and got such a good haul from the farmers market.
Too bad the weather got really yucky in the afternoon.
We mostly just cuddled all day and watched True Blood.
Then Dan made amazing food and we had fresh strawberries and ice cream with chocolade hagel , which we normally eat on toast!
Our lives are filled up so much by food…..

Some fish that were given to us, so yummy!

Cheers,

Last summer Dan and I got married.

This summer we will be celebrating our one year anniversary at my sisters wedding celebration, followed by a trip to Nelson, BC for my brothers wedding. It is the Summer-of-Weddings! I am so excited for both!

Here is a little peek at the dress I will be wearing to my sisters wedding. I found it for 75% off of the original price- amazing!

I keep thinking that these weddings (and trip!) are still months away but now it seems they have crept up so quickly! I think it is partly because it has been such a long spring here on the East coast. I am ready for you summer!

Cheers,

Dan and I with my other love, Coffee.

Hi, My name is Ceilidh.
I live in Halifax, NS with my husband Dan.
We live a pretty decadent life and want to share it with you.
It’s been a wet, long spring(although tomorrow is the first day of summer!), but an inspired time of year for me. Everything is green and lush, the sun is shinning, people are feeling good. It’s a good time to begin a blog.
Cheers for now,

-Ceilidh
